WorthingtonFRP™ is our most dynamic architectural fiberglass column. Typically FRP is used for columns that are 16″ or greater in diameter. We incorporate a filament wound technology to manufacture our architectural FRP fiberglass columns to produce a very lightweight yet strong load capacity up to 20,000 lbs. Backed by our limited lifetime warranty; these columns are built to last a lifetime.
The square WorthingtonFRP™ is available to complement our round tapered or non-tapered FRP columns. The availability of the square columns incorporate open mold manufacturing for our architectural FRP fiberglass columns and can be used to make custom applications. This process is a very lightweight yet strong end product that yields load capacities up to 20,000 lbs each. Both plain and fluted column and pilaster options are available as well as recessed panel and custom capital and base designs.
Our WORTHINGTON Stone™, WORTHINGTON Cast™, WORTHINGTON FRP™, Aluminum as well as our wide array of wood columns, are all load bearing as long as they are not split.
The columns ship with a qualified freight carrier company. Depending on the size of capitals and bases we may use FedEx.
