The WorthingtonStone™ polymer stone
column is made from highly durable
polyester resin. This architectural
stone column is very unique to the
industry. The composition of this
material looks and feels like cast stone
but weighs approximately 50%-60% less
due to the fact that each column is spun
in a rotary cast mold which allows this
stone column to be made hollow. The
column is then sand blasted to create a
texture finish. By adding pigments,
Worthington is able to offer this column
in six different colors: white,
off-white, sandstone, cream, gray and
limestone in both a textured or stone
finish. This pigment is part of the
column’s composition and is not an
exterior shell back with styrafoam.
Custom colors and designs are also
available in this a truly maintenance
free column. This column also
collaborates with the WorthingtonStone™
balustrade system.
